EventWebStudio wants everyone to be able to use eventwebstudio.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, voice control or reduced motion settings.

Our commitment

We treat accessibility as part of how the site is built, not a feature added later. Every page and every change is checked against the standard below before it goes live, and we fix problems reported to us as a priority.

The standard we build to

This site is designed and built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2 AA) in mind. That is also the standard commonly referenced for business websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We aim to meet it; we do not claim a formal certification or audit.

Accessibility features on this site

• Text and interface colors are chosen and measured for contrast in both light and dark themes and in every color palette the site offers.
• Every menu, dialog, form and carousel can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
• Every overlay has a visible close button, and closes with the Escape key on a desktop.
• Animations respect the reduced motion setting on your device and resolve to a still, fully readable state.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
• An accessibility options panel on every page lets you enlarge text and adjust how the site is displayed.
• Form fields have visible labels, clear error messages and inputs large enough not to trigger zoom on phones.

Known limitations

Some content is supplied by third parties, such as the booking calendar on the demo page and payment pages hosted by our payment processor. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we do not control their pages. If one of them causes you a problem, tell us and we will help you complete the task another way.

Websites we build for clients

The websites we build for event businesses follow the same approach and include an accessibility statement of their own. This helps our clients meet their obligations; it is not legal advice, and content a client adds later also affects accessibility.

If you find a barrier on this site, email hello@eventwebstudio.com with the page address and what happened. A person replies within one working day, and we will offer the information in another format if you need it.
